London-based pizza restaurant group Crust Bros will open its third restaurant early next year in Balham.

The 35-cover restaurant will open on Hildreth Street in the south London area serving its range of 48 hour-proved dough pizzas. Options include pizzas called Meat Sweatz, Olivin it Up, Nona’s Yard, Big Poppa, and Buffalo Soldier.

Crust Bros was founded in 2016 by Joe Moore, who quit his grad scheme job to embark on  a six-week tour of Italy. Following a successful street food business it opened its first bricks-and-mortar site in Waterloo in 2017, followed by a second location at Sambrook’s Brewery Tap in Wandsworth in July.

“Balham is somewhere we've wanted to come to for ages. Hildreth Street is one of those magical streets, it feels like a real hidden gem, right in the centre of vibrant Balham,” says Moore.

“We love the community vibe here, with a local crowd of foodies. We can't wait to open.’

For every pizza sold at Balham, Crust Bros will plant a tree in partnership with sustainable business movement Earthly - an extension of its ‘1 pizza sold = 1 tree planted’ promise, that it launched in April 2021 to help tackle the climate crisis.

To date, more than 23,000 trees have been planted as part of the scheme.
