Brazilian rodizio restaurant Charro de Cuba is to open a second London restaurant, in Wembley Park.

The new 5,500sq ft restaurant will have ground floor dining room as well as a Cuban cocktail bar on a mezzanine level. Like its sister restaurant, Charro de Rio in Belsize Park, it will serve an all-you-can-eat menu of charcoal barbecue meats and vegetarian alternatives for a fixed price point.

“Having built up such a loyal customer base in Belsize Park and with the rising popularity of Latin American cuisine, we wanted to open our new restaurant somewhere that could match our ambitions – and Wembley Park was a natural fit,” says Charro de Cuba owner Vered Mass.

“We look forward to opening our doors amid the hustle and bustle of this vibrant neighbourhood, welcoming new customers from the area’s growing residential population and the millions of people who visit every year.”

The Brazilian restaurant is the latest company to sign a lease on Wembley Park Boulevard, operated by property investment and development business Quintain. It is home to the UK’s second Amazon Fresh concept, Fuller’s pub The White Horse and the debut site for luxury dessert restaurant brand Haute Dolci as well as sites from Pasta Remoli and Bread Ahead.

Twice Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar recently signed a lease for his new restaurant Masalchi, which is due to open on the corner of Wembley Park Boulevard and Olympic Way at the end of this month.
