Lendlease has signed up a quartet of East Asian brands for its Elephant Park development in South London.

Asian fusion restaurant and bar OISOI (pictured), Taiwanese tea specialists YiFang and Esports café Wanyoo have taken an interconnected unit spanning over 6,000 sq ft, and will be joined at the Elephant and Castle-based development by Japanese grab-and-go brand Kokoro.

OISOI’s 130-cover site will be the largest at Elephant Park and will offer a ‘brand-new concept’ based around east meets west by way of a collaboration with former Gaucho executive chef Max Castaldo.

It will offer ‘extensive choice’, including an artisan dim sum lunch, formal all day à la carte menu as well as a ‘Michelin-style afternoon tea’.

The restaurant will join to OISOI sites in Sheffield and a further site in London's Docklands.

Specialising in Taiwanese fruit tea, YiFang already operates eight sites in London, Manchester and Oxford.

“Wanyoo, YiFang, and OISOI benefit from facing onto New Kent Road, a busy thoroughfare and key gateway to Elephant Park, while Kokoro looks out onto the amazing two-acre green space of the brand new park,” says head of place assets at Lendlease Guy Thomas.

“Esports is already a huge industry and it’s great to have an industry leader joining us whilst adding to the leisure provision at Elephant Park. Adding some amazing East Asian food and drink, gives further diversity to the wider Elephant Park lifestyle and F&B offer, which is shaping up to be an all-encompassing destination, in line with our vision.”

Other recent signings at the development include sourdough pizza brand Four Hundred Rabbits and Livelyhood Pubs.
