Indian restaurant group Madhu’s Brasserie will open a standalone restaurant on Richmond’s Sheen Road next month.

The group - which operates the recently launched Madhu’s Brasserie Knightsbridge on the 5th Floor of Harvey Nichols (pictured) - works with long-standing Indian caterers Madhu’s to create its menus.

Madhu’s runs its own restaurants in Southall, Heathrow, Mayfair and Watford.

The menu at Madhu’s Brasserie will “pay playful homage to history, serving up new interpretations of authentic dishes passed down through generations”.

There will be a menu of filled naans and roomali rotis with fillings including chilli chicken; marinated paneer; and minced lamb.

Dishes on the main menu will palak patta chaat; makhani dal; and chicken biryani

The restaurant’s design “embodies both indulgence and comfort” with the dining area sporting chairs of deep emerald leather, dark wooden floors, decorative wallpaper and an open kitchen.

Tony Lit, Director of Madhu’s Brasserie and Gourmet Associates Limited comments: “Following on from a successful launch last year, Madhu’s Brasserie is excited to expand southwards and share our passion for authentic Indian food with the vibrant Richmond community.

“Supported by our strategic partner Madhu’s, our brand new restaurant will bring years of history and culinary creativity to the area.”
