Chef Josh Whitehead to head up kitchen at new Harrogate restaurant Samsons
Josh Whitehead, a semi-finalist of the 2016 MasterChef: The Professionals, is heading up the kitchen at a new restaurant in Harrogate.
Called Samsons, the bar and brasserie will be located in Cheltenham Crescent and will have space for 182 covers across the main restaurant and bar and a private wine tasting snug room.
Whitehead, formerly executive chef at Harewood Estate in Leeds, will serve an all-day menu of British food.
“I am thrilled to bring the people of Harrogate and the surrounding area a unique drink and dining location in the heart of the town,” says Samsons managing director Mark Morris.
Samsons is due to open later this month.
