Following a successful investment round the brand plans to reach 14 London sites across the capital including Chelsea, Clapham, Hampstead, Islington, Wimbledon Village and Dulwich.
Neyba opened in Notting Hill in January and sees chefs including Tony Singh, Miguel Barclay, Yoko Nakada, and sushi master Endo Kazotushi create a collaborative menu. As well as being able to buy the meals, customers can try the chefs’ recipes and buy ingredients from their dishes as well as other grocery items.
The ‘smart kitchens’ have been designed and supported by proprietary tech that gives the brand the ability to cook up to eight cuisines from one kitchen. Each dish on the menu can be prepared in under six minutes.
Since its launch, Neyba has experienced strong financial growth, according to the company.
Some of the investment will be put towards what the company calls its ‘tech eco system’, which will include a customer-facing app that will give customers opportunities to reduce their food waste and save time.
“What a journey this has already been for Neyba and the family we have built. This investment round will ensure the Neyba brand is at the forefront of food and the future of food consumption,” says Zelman.
“We’ve partnered with some of the country’s most forward-thinking chefs and producers to create an offering unlike anything else you can find.”
“Seeing Neyba grow in West London is really thrilling and we are now ready to bring the concept to every corner of London,” adds Hedley. We’ve built a solid team that has developed and delivered an offering that we’re very proud of and think Londoners are now ready for this.”
