Pole position: Hilton to open trackside hotel at Silverstone
Formula 1 fans will have the chance of watching the British Grand Prix live and in comfort with the opening of a trackside hotel this summer.
Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone will be a 197-room hotel with views over Silverstone’s legendary start/finish straight and will be the famous track’s only trackside hotel.
It will feature a rooftop bar with a 360-degree views of the racetrack and Silverstone Heritage Track, an outdoor terrace, and all-day restaurant BOX Bar & Kitchen, which will be located trackside and will have both indoor and terrace viewing spaces.
During race events, the hotel’s 75 rooms and suites facing the track can be transformed to hospitality suites.
