Incipio Group is to launch a new wet led concept next month on the site previously occupied by D&D London's Aster restaurant in London Victoria’s Nova development.

The Palm House will house space for 400 guests across two floors, and take inspiration from Cuba and Miami’s clubhouses of the 1930’s.

The space will comprise several drinking and dining spaces, with a Miami clubhouse on the ground floor and an 'immersive' Cuban hangout residing upstairs complete with a dedicated daiquiri bar.

It will also feature two private dining spaces for intimate group gatherings with sharing menus.

The food and drinks menu will take cues from both Miami and Cuba, and be accompanied by an extensive drinks offering of tropical cocktails made with exotic fruits, as well as a host of wines, beers and spirits.

Incipio originally operated a selection of outdoor-based food and drinks venues in the capital including Pergola Paddington, The Prince in West Brompton and Lost in Brixton, all of which continue to operate.

It launched its first bricks and mortar site, Pergola on the Wharf, in June last year and followed this with a second permanent site in January this year at White City Place called Dear Grace.

The Palm House will open on 22 September and be the group's seventh venue. An eighth site, at The Royal Exchange in the City of London, is set to launch in October.

D&D London announced the closure of Aster last month after five years of trading, adding that it is considering on reopening the Nordic-inspired restaurant in a more suitable place.
