Ivo Dimitrov is to bring CAVO to London following the Mediterranean restaurant’s success in Greece and Spain.

The vast 11,300 sq ft open plan restaurant and outside terrace is set to open in new Tottenham Court Road Station development The Outernet late next month.

The food and drink offering and interiors will be centred on Mediterranean culture and ingredients with CAVO billed as being a ‘celebration of the expansive culinary expertise of everything the sea and the earth has to offer’.

A 10,000 sq ft open-plan restaurant and separate private dining room will see floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Tottenham Court Road from the 4th floor of The Outernet. An adjacent 1,300 sq ft roof top terrace will focus on oysters, seafood, Mediterranean wines and Champagne.

“We are thrilled to be bringing our Mediterranean dining concept to one of Europe’s most lively capitals and in the coveted 4th floor setting at brand-new state-of-the-art The Outernet building,” says Dimitrov who is Bulgarian born with Greek heritage and has lived in London for two decades.

“We’re confident our roof top terrace and authentic Mediterranean experience will become one of London’s top dining destinations when we open this autumn.”

Other restaurants within the development include Tattu London.
