Californian-based pizzeria 800° Degrees Pizza will make its UK debut this month, at Gravity Wandsworth.

Founded by chef and restaurateur Anthony Carron, the ‘pizza, wings and more’ restaurant will officially launch on 24 January in partnership with REEF Technologies.

It will be followed by two further UK sites that are due to open in the next three months.

Menu items will include pizzas such as the Butter Chicken with chicken in a tikka sauce, red onions and chillies; and the Doppio topped with crispy pepperoni and spicy salami. Customers will also be able to create their own pizzas from a range of toppings.

“We are so pumped for this entrance into the UK, which will be a pivotal milestone for our brand,” says Tommy Lee, CEO of 800° Degrees Pizza.

“Having the opportunity to bring the 800° Degrees experience to the people of the UK and the lively location of Gravity Wandsworth, is just so exciting for the whole team. We see 800° Degrees Pizza as a lifestyle choice, bringing the premium pizza party to whoever, wherever, whenever and however our customers want it - and we just hope Londoners love it as much as we do.”

800° Degrees Pizza currently operates 35 sites worldwide in locations including the US, Japan and Singapore.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring one of the States’ most popular gourmet pizza brands to the UK for the very first time,” says Kenneth Rourke, president of REEF Kitchens.

“From their signature pizza offerings to mouthwatering oven baked wings, guests will love the flavours and premium ingredients 800° Degrees delivers through the innovative convenience of REEF Food Hall.”
