Two French entrepreneurs have opened the UK’s first speciality cheese restaurant in Chelsea near London’s Kings Road, serving up to 200 cheeses at any one time.

Food and wine experts Jean-Charles Madenspacher and Julien Ledogar launched L’Art du Fromage, which features cheese in most of its dishes, earlier this month.

Using a variety of wines and unpasteurised cheeses sourced from independent producers in the French countryside, L’Art du Fromage serves dishes such as fondue in four different cheese and liqueur combinations, five variations of the traditional French dish Tartiflettes, and a number of charcuterie and cheese boards served with bread, jams and nuts.
