The London based hospitality group behind venues The Hawk’s Nest, Skylarking, and Peckham Arches will open a taproom and brewery later this month.

Bird House London will open Bird House Brewery in Herne Hill on Bath Factory Estate, on the site of the former Canopy Brew Co, on 28 March.

The craft brewery will include a tap room inside the arch that will brew the group’s own house lager and pale ale and will have a mix of indoor and outdoor seating.

The brewery bar will have seating for 200 guests, with 50 covers inside the arch, as well as outdoor seating for 150.

Alongside the house lager and pale ale, the drinks menu will also include cocktails and wine, with a converted horse box parked outside the arch serving smash burgers.

“We are delighted to open our fourth neighbourhood venue, Bird House Brewery in Herne Hill,” says Frazer Timmerman, Bird House London co founder.

“Like our other venues, central to the offering will be an affordable range of cocktails and street food in a plant filled setting with lots of live entertainment and events to engage with our local community.”

Founded in 2019 by Frazer Timmerman and William Fuller Bird House London specialises operating neighbourhood and community focused bars. The group’s first venue, The Hawk’s Nest in Shepherd’s Bush, opened in 2020, which was followed by Peckham Arches and sister bar Skylarking in March 2023.
