Behind the scenes at a dinner for 2,000 at the Royal Albert Hall

To accompany a special audio podcast investigating top tips for chefs and restaurants on developing an event catering or banquet dining arm, BigHospitality took an exclusive look at how Rhubarb cater for 2,000 at the Royal Albert Hall for this photo gallery.

Since 2010 when Rhubarb won the contract to cater for the Royal Albert Hall the team at South Kensington venue have refreshed all the restaurants, concessions and bars as well as the dining offers for events.

Plus for one week a year the team get the chance to put their bespoke, high-end, event catering experience to the test with a number of corporate events.

This year that included dinner for 2,000 and BigHospitality was there for a special audio podcast including top tips for chefs and restaurants wanting to emulate Rhubarb and peers such as Cyrus Todiwala  and Heston Blumenthal .

The gallery includes amazing shots of the hall decked out for service, a behind the scenes look at the chefs and waiters in action and shots of some of the food the team are able to serve for thousands of diners a night.
