Three Michelin-starred French chef Anne-Sophie Pic is to partner with the Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square to open her first UK restaurant, La Dame de Pic.

Set to open in December this year, the 100-bedroom hotel – which will sit alongside 41 private residences ‒ will house the dining room, to be designed by Bruno Moinard of Paris-based architects 4BI.

It will aim to offer a French brasserie-style atmosphere with “a classically English” touch. Diners will be able to enter through the bar or a separate entrance from the street, and there will also be a private dining room and wine cellar. Décor will include natural wood, carved woodwork, leather banquettes and bevelled mirror columns.

La Dame de Pic's menu will feature Pic’s trademark French-influenced style, with a focus on local and seasonal ingredients and what have been dubbed “unexpected” flavour combinations and eye-catching presentation.

Only the fourth female chef to be awarded three stars in the Michelin Guide, Pic began her career at her family’s restaurant, Maison Pic in Valence, southeast France (which was first awarded three stars in 1934), and has since operated restaurants in Valence, Lausanne and Paris, including the three-star Anne-Sophie Pic – Le Restaurant, and the one-star La Dame de Pic.

She was named the Best Female Chef by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2011.

Pic said: “I am thrilled to be partnering with Four Seasons to bring my cuisine to a new audience in London in the spectacular location of Ten Trinity Square…We share the company’s strong values and are equally focused on delivering an unforgettable dining experience to our guests.”

Charlie Parker, general manager of the Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square, said: “We are delighted to be working alongside chef Anne-Sophie Pic to bring a completely new gastronomic experience to the Square Mile. La Dame de Pic is set to become a new dining destination in London.”

Part of the Four Seasons group, Ten Trinity Square was formerly the headquarters of the Port of London Authority – and even hosted the inaugural meeting of the General Assembly of the United Nations in 1946.

With high ceilings and original wooden panelling, it also has a distinctive stone façade, with columns, intricate stone carvings, and a rotunda. As well as the rooms and residences, it is also set to feature a spa and a members’ club.

Within the UK, the Four Seasons Hotels group also operates the Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, and the Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire. Worldwide, the brand operates 98 hotels across 41 countries.
