Edwardian Hotels is to open a new Peruvian-inspired restaurant and bar in London.

Monmouth Kitchen will replace the existing Scoff & Banter restaurant at the Radisson Blu Edwardian, Mercer Street hotel in Seven Dials when it opens on 25 August.

The 106-cover venue will serve ceviche, tapas and pisco cocktails with a menu overseen by Amir Jati, former head of private dining at Nobu.

It will act as a sister site to May Fair Kitchen at the May Fair Hotel.

Jati said: “The restaurant and bar at Monmouth Kitchen will offer the best of May Fair Kitchen with a Seven Dials twist that reflects the more casual, street-style food found in the area.”

Dishes will include Pan-fried Salmon with Calabrian Chilli Salsa; Lobster Ceviche; and Peruvian Chocolate Spring Rolls with Passion Fruit Sauce and Coconut Sorbet.

Cocktails will be based around the traditional Peruvian spirit Pisco, including the Pisco Sour with Lime, Egg White and Sugar; and the Batida with Coconut Milk, Condensed Milk, Guava, Mango and Lime.

Monmouth Kitchen’s opening will see the entire ground floor of the Radisson Blu Edwardian, Mercer Street transformed with a new ‘relaxed and welcoming’ lobby space.

It joins Edwardian Hotel’s growing portfolio of restaurant brands, including Steak & Lobster, Annayu and May Fair Bar.

The restaurant will open from 7am – 11pm, serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

Edwardian Hotels runs 12 four and five-star luxury hotels in London and Manchester.
