Hilton Worldwide has marked the beginning of 'an exciting new generation of hotels' with the opening of the Hilton London Bankside - the first Hilton to open in the capital since 2006.
The 292-room hotel features two destination food and beverage outlets - OXBO Bankside restaurant and The Distillery bar.
Executive chef Paul Bates, a former employee of The Beaumont and Intercontinental Park Lane, will head up the kitchen.
Bates said: “I’ve always been inspired by British produce, and our local neighbours such as the Tate Modern and Borough Market so expect to see those influences in the menu at OXBO Bankside, as well as at The Distillery too. ”
