Kiran-Selvarajan
Hilton Cambridge City Centre has appointed Kiran Selvarajan executive head chef.
Selvarajan joins from Nidd Hall Hotel in Harrogate where he was executive head chef. The Indian chef, who has also worked in a number of five-star establishments in India, plans to introduce the hotel's first Sunday lunch offering in its Book Room restaurant.
He said: “My first job in the UK was at the Cambridge Belfry Hotel, so I’m delighted to be returning to a city that I love. I wanted to bring a unique offering to visitors and the residents of Cambridge, and put Hilton Cambridge City Centre on the map. I am looking forward to sharing a new, vibrant menu with customers in due course. I also believe our three-course Sunday lunch menu is ideal for couples and families looking for laid back, metropolitan dining, right in the heart of the city.”
