Also from the Conrad London St. James, the Tea Fusion tea will launch on 12 September, as an altogether more autumnal treat. The selection will include Lapsang Souchong tea-smoked salmon rillettes and crispbread, Earl Grey panna cotta and lemon macaron, and lychee and jasmine mousse with mango salsa. Sandwiches will include tea smoked chicken, with pickled ginger and wasabi mayonnaise. From £39 for no Champagne, to £54 for unlimited glasses.
Executive pastry chef Zoe Wager, said: “This quirky concept combines flavours found in teas from all around the world, to create a light and refreshing afternoon tea experience. We always love adding unexpected flavours within our afternoon tea creations."
