InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) opened its InterContinental London – The O2 hotel on the Greenwich Peninsula, London, on 26 January.
The 453-room hotel includes five destination-inspired food and beverage outlets including The Peninsula Restaruant amd Eighteen, a rooftop bar. It also has a world-class health spa and 59 suites.
It has one of the largest pillar-free ballrooms in Europe (3,100sqm) and 19 meeting rooms and a large pre-function space with views of Canary Wharf.
It will operate under a franchise agreement with Meridian Hotel Operations Limited and will be managed by a dicision of the Arora Group.
