Not many chefs can claim to be the protégé of legendary Pierre Koffmann, but former Young National Chef of the Year Ben Murphy can do just that, having also worked at Michelin-starred sites such as the three-starred Les Pres d’Eugenie in south west France, Epicure at Le Bristol in Paris, and the two-starred Greenhouse in Mayfair. As Murphy’s first solo venture, this 100-cover restaurant in South Woodford offers a refined menu of British-inspired dishes, and is backed by experienced hospitality operator Steve Andrews.
