The freehold pub was sold for an undisclosed sum by Davis Coffer Lyons (DCL).

Headed by Stephen Cox, Faucet Inn operates 15 pubs in London and a further four outside of the capital, including sites in Southampton and Kent.

Located on Battersea Bridge Road, The Prince of Wales is a dining-focused pub with a beer garden and four flats on the top floor.

Paul Tallentyre, director of pubs at DCL, said: “We are increasingly executing off-market acquisition strategies for our clients to enable them to get into their desired locations, as available properties on the market have dried up.

"The Prince of Wales is a great addition to Faucet Inn’s current portfolio and will enable them to strengthen their south-west London presence.”
