TGI Friday's is set to unveil a new brand name and design across a select number of its soon-to-be-reopened UK sites.

The group says it will be reopening 66 of its restaurant for dine-in customers on Monday 6 July, and that six of those sites will carry its new ‘Famous at Fridays’ branding.

Elements of the new look and design will also be introduced across the rest of TGI's UK estate.

A new, 'simplified' menu will include pot stickers; cobb salad; and loaded potato skins. The streamlined cocktail menu, meanwhile, will feature a selection of re-introduced classics such as a negroni; an Aperol spritz, and an espresso martini.

The six TGI restaurants to initially open with the'Famous at Fridays' branding are: Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Birmingham Hagley Road, Nottingham, Manchester Royal Exchange, and Glasgow Buchanan Street.

It feels great to be able to welcome our guests back into our restaurants and be able to give them that memorable Fridays experience," say group CEO Robert B. Cook.

“Our new 'Famous at Fridays' restaurants take us back to what we are famous for. We have invested in the return of classic dishes made with quality ingredients, re-energised bars full of energy & theatre, all of which will be complemented by consistently brilliant and iconic Fridays service and spirit of generosity.

"We can’t wait to safely welcome our guests back through our doors.”
