Successful candidates will go forward to regional quarter-finals in March and April with the semi-finals to be held in April and May. The finals will be held in June 2023 where finalists will be tested on a wide range of classical skills.

The three highest-scoring candidates will be awarded the accolade of Young Chef, Young Waiter, Young Pastry Chef of The Year as well as receive a £2,000 bursary thanks to the Savoy Educational Trust that will take the form of an educational trip, and work experience at Jason Atherton’s Pollen Street Social  and at The Fat Duck.
