Countdown begins to Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards 2023

There are just a few hours to go until the winners of the 2023 Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards are announced.

The annual event, held tonight (12 June) at The Hurlingham Club in London, will see a countdown of the top 100 restaurants in the UK as voted for by the country’s best chefs, restaurateurs, food writers, critics and other experts.

The UK’s top restaurant talent will gather to find out if Gareth Ward’s Ynyshir restaurant in Wales will be crowned the UK’s best restaurant for the second year running or whether a new restaurant will take the top spot - joining previous winners that include Kiln, The Ledbury, Moor Hall, The Fat Duck, Barrafina Adelaide Street, and The Hand & Flowers.

There will also be a series of shortlisted special awards including Chef of the Year, Restaurateur of the Year, and Chef to Watch – where nominees have been voted for by the National Restaurant Awards academy voters.
