Milanese seafood restaurant Langosteria is the latest restaurant to join the line-up at high-profile Whitehall venue The OWO.

The London outpost of the fashion-world haunt will ‘showcase many of the original dishes and features as the original restaurant’, which launched in the Italian city’s Design District in 2007.

Described as a ‘fine dining restaurant with Italian roots’, Langosteria selects ‘the best ingredients from all over the world, combining Italian traditions with a contemporary international approach’.

The group behind Langosteria has already brought its core restaurant brand to Paris and St Moritz.

“I am delighted to announce the launch of our first Langosteria in the UK. It has been a long-term dream of mine to have a restaurant in London and The OWO is the perfect venue for us to make our debut,” says founder Enrico Buonocore (pictured above). “Each project we undertake is totally unique and Langosteria at The OWO will offer an unrivalled seafood experience – we’re confident it will be one of the best in the capital."

Formerly the Old War Office, Raffles London at The OWO is slated to open this summer and will be home to nine restaurants and three bars.

Restaurants will include Parisian restaurant Café Lapérouse,Italian restaurant Paper Moon and a rooftop restaurant and sake bar from Endo Kazutoshi and Misha Zelman’s Creative Restaurant Group.

High-profile Argentine-born chef Mauro Colagreco will be the headline act, opening two restaurants at The OWO.

“We are very excited to bring the inaugural UK opening of Langosteria to The OWO. Enrico and his team are from a rare breed of visionary restaurateurs who excel in designing vibrant and exciting venues which put the guest at the centre of the dining experience. The restaurant’s cult following and reputation amongst the global fashion and design community will make this a perfect fit with the other world-class chefs and restaurateurs at The OWO,” adds Madani Sow, CEO of development management company WDS.
