Paris-born Italian restaurant concept DAROCO will launch in London’s Soho this September.

Founded by Alexandre Giesbert, Julien Ross, and Nico de Soto, DAROCO currently operates two restaurants in the French capital.

Located on the eastern edge of Soho on Manette Street, DAROCO will comprises a 120-cover ground floor restaurant and a 50-cover basement bar. A 60 cover terrace will launch later in the year.

The menu will be comparable to that served in Paris. Designed with sharing in mind, dishes will include various pizzas; vitello tonnato; pappardelle with red wine venison ragu; black truffle linguine; and tiramisu.

The design of the site is being overseen by architect Olivier Delannoy, who also created the DAROCO sites in Paris.

Inspired by the ‘Renaissance movement together with Milanese elegance’, details will include a grand mirrored ceiling, marble tabletops, burnished brass fixtures, soft lighting and ‘a wealth of greenery emulating that of an English garden’.

According to the press information, DAROCO will bring together ‘the best of Europe - French hospitality, Italian generosity - and a new British vibrancy’ when it launches later this year.
