Big Fang Collective secures £5.5m for further UK expansion
Big Fang, which is backed by Imbiba, is looking to launch into three new cities this year with multiple venues planned.
The group currently operates six sites under its Golf Fang brand in Liverpool, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Sheffield and Cardiff.
In 2023 it launched an immersive karaoke concept called Big Fang Karaoke at its flagship Liverpool venue, as well as in-house pizzeria Nothing Cheezy.
“Following a successful year in 2023 we are excited to further accelerate our venue growth plans with the support of ThinCats and our investors, Imbiba,” says Big Fang Collective in a statement.
“We now have heads of terms signed across three major cities and a strong pipeline for the coming year. With the right people, property and funding now in place, we are set to make 2024 our best year yet.”
ThinCats’ funding comes after Big Fang recently revealed plans to develop new competitive socialising concepts and open six new sites over the next two years as part of its aim to secure a presence in every major UK city by 2025.

Big Fang also operates Birdies Bar in Birmingham.
