Bistrot Pierre is trialling a more casual and better value sub brand that will focus on small plates, sharing dishes, coffee and cocktails.

Pierre’s is set to launch in Newport’s Friars Walk early next month marks a return to the Welsh city for Bistrot Pierre following a two-year absence.

The new brand is being billed as the ultimate socialising venue offering ‘great dining with a value for money menu’.

Pierre’s will open for breakfast at 9am each day. Later in the day, the restaurant will offer dishes including a 7oz prime British beef burger; chicken Caesar salad; and steak frites.

“We’re very excited to be bringing our brand-new concept, Pierre’s, to Newport this May”, says CEO Nick White. “As well as bringing new culinary delights to the city, we are thrilled to welcome new team members to our growing family.”

“We believe in offering delicious food, which is great value for money, from a team who understand the importance of a friendly and professional demeanour, in an exciting and fast-paced atmosphere. We welcome all those interested to apply now and look forward to bringing a piece of Pierre’s to the heart of Newport.”

Set to celebrate its 30th anniversary later this year, Bistrot Pierre launched in Nottingham in 1994 and currently has 17 bistrots trading under its core brand across the UK.
