Asda to introduce Leon brand into its stores

The Leon brand will be found within Asda supermarkets in the future following the supermarket's acquisition of EG Group’s UK business for £2bn.

Asda has agreed to buy EG Group’s UK and Ireland operations for an enterprise value of £2.27bn, in a deal that will see it take ownership of the Leon brand.
