Jamie's Chef pub closes down
Fifteen Foundation pub The Cock in Beazley End, Essex, closes as bosses blame the economic climate and the struggles facing small businesses.

Jamie Oliver`s Fifteen Foundation pub The Cock at Beazley End, Essex, has closed.

Aaron Craze won the chance to run the pub after competing against other Fifteen Foundation students in Channel 4 programme Jamie`s Chef.

A spokesperson for the Fifteen Foundation said: "We are in discussion about what to do about The Cock as a business going forward.

"Aaron and Nicki have worked tremendously hard and produced an award-winning product to try to make it work but many small businesses struggle, especially in rural areas and in the current economic climate.

"Decisions are currently being made to help the family and Aaron has been offered work within the Jamie Oliver organisation."
