Tottington Manor goes on sale and Landmark London gets new ballroom
West Sussex manor house hotel Tottington Manor is put on the market and the Landmark London unveils its brand new grand ballroom

Refurbished country house hotel and restaurant Tottington Manor has gone on sale for £1.65m.

The Grade II Listed building in the hamlet of Edburton has undergone extensive work to turn it into an ideal wedding and function venue.

With views of the South Downs, the building is set within large grounds and includes six en-suite bedrooms, a flat for staff accommodation, a restaurant and two function rooms.

A permanent marquee is also set in the grounds featuring built-in toilets, a 15ft dance floor and its own bar.

Andrew Bush, from Christie & Co’s Maidstone Office, who is handling the sale, said; “Tottington Manor was acquired by our client in 2004 and after considerable refurbishment, now provides a contemporary and stylish dTcor, but still retains its charm and character. The business has recently started opening seven days a week and serves food every evening except Sundays. With the overall size and space and the substantial marquee, Tottington Manor provides an ideal wedding and function venue."

Meanwhile, five-star hotel, Landmark London has increased the capacity of its banqueting facilities by opening a Grand Ballroom.

The room was created by joining two former banqueting rooms to provide space for up to 750 guests for a cocktail reception and 500 for a sit down dinner.

It can also be used as two separate rooms by drawing across a sound-proofed wall.
