The General Manager and Sous Chef of Neil Morrissey and Richard Fox’s Ye Olde Punch Bowl have left to run another Yorkshire bar

The former general manager and the sous chef from Neil Morrissey’s TV pub have left to run another Yorkshire outlet.

Manager Luc Daguzan and sous chef Bob Taylor have joined forces at the Canalside restaurant and bar in Skipton as general manager and head chef.

Luc also did a five year stint as general manager at the Angel, Hetton.

The pair met at Ye Olde Punch Bowl Inn, Marton-cum-Grafton York, owned by chef Richard Fox and actor Neil Morrissey and currently featured in the Channel 4 television series Risky Business — the second part of which airs tonight at 10pm on Channel 4.

Luc, who is currently rebuilding the team at the Canalside, explained: “The restaurant remains downstairs, while we will be opening a wine and cocktail bar on the first floor, also incorporating a private dining area.”
