Call-Systems Technology branches into security
The hospitality communications specialist has launched a security division offering CCTV cameras and Virtual Turnstiles

Call-Systems Technology (CST) has launched a new division specialising in security systems aimed specifically at the hospitality industry.

With a heavy concentration on providing CCTV systems for restaurants, pubs and hotels, Security-Systems Technology (SST) claims it could reduce non-drinks related crimes by providing an immediate deterrent from vandalism and theft. According to figures released by the British Chamber of Commerce, crimes against businesses cost the UK £12.6bn every year.

Ashley Sheppard, sales director of CST, said: "The SST portfolio complements our current range of communications and software systems. Our expertise in the hospitality sector, combined with SST`s ground-breaking security products, allows us to offer a uniquely integrated and powerful portfolio of communications and security products and systems.”

The catalogue of CCTV systems offered by SST ranges from standard analogue cameras for businesses on a budget, to military specification thermal imaging units, all of which are supplied, fitted and maintained by experienced engineers.

"Closed circuit TV has made huge advances since the days of hazy, grainy black and white images," continued Sheppard. "Our SST portfolio incorporates a huge range of features, such as automatic number plate recognition, and provides a real, effective and highly visible deterrent."

SST have also pioneered the Virtual Turnstile, an unobtrusive and non-confrontational method of monitoring the passage of each person entering or leaving the premises.
