Restaurants, hotels and pubs tell us about the promotions and special offers theyre running

BigHospitality rounds up the offers, promotions and other special events running this week at restaurants and hotels around the country.

Fruits de Mer

The arrival of spring brings with it the Festival de la Mer at le Bouchon Breton. Throughout March and April, the restaurant in Old Spitalfields Market will serve three seafood courses with half a bottle of Macon for £25 per person. Those wishing to upgrade can opt for the Plateau Imperial – a selection of seafood from Brittany for two accompanied by a bottle of Henriot Champagne for £58.

Lunchtime burritos

It’s all change at Mexican bar and cantina Green & Red this month. The Shoreditch-based venue – well known for its Tequila selection - is now opening for lunch on weekdays and subsequently has added some more appropriate dishes for the lunchtime crowd – burritos and tacos. “We’ve always steered clear of burritos which, well, just felt a bit too Tex-Mex and a bit too stodgy,” they say, “But last time we were in Mexico we headed up north to Chihuahua to sample the real thing and we were amazed.” To celebrate, Green & Red is offering 50 per cent off food until March 19.

Discounts for the organised

Radisson Edwardian Hotels are giving 20 per cent off room rates on all bookings made at least 10 days in advance. The group which has hotels in London and Manchester is offering some rooms for just £34 per person per night. Restaurants in Radisson Edwardian`s 12 hotels also have a 2-for-1 offer on dining at lunch or dinner, excluding drinks.

Party like it`s 2009

The Forge restaurant in Covent Garden has started offering a 2009-theme menu on Sunday’s and Monday’s. Three courses, coffee and half a bottle of house wine are priced at £20.09 per person with starters including smoked mackerel with pickled cucumber and French onion soup, mains of slow braised mutton, steak and kidney pie and desserts such as warm treacle tart and chocolate Marquise.
