Punch Taverns sells four pubs to St Austell
St Austell Brewery is set to acquire four pubs from Punch Taverns this month in a deal that would increase its estate to 173

St Austell Brewery is set to acquire four pubs from Punch Taverns this month in a deal that would increase its estate to 173.

Due for completion in the next couple of weeks, the deal would see St Austell add the Borough Arms in Dunmere, Holly Tree Inn in Exmouth, the Paris Hotel in Helston and Top House also in Helston to its portfolio of South West pubs.

Adam Luck, estate director for St Austell Brewery, said the group was ‘delighted’ with its purchase.

“All are high quality businesses and their locations fit extremely well with our current portfolio of pubs and hotels,” he said. “We are very proud of our pub business and look forward to welcoming the existing tenants and their teams to the St Austell Brewery estate.”

Earlier this year St Austell invested £700k into a project to build a new in-house bottling line from a Cornwall distribution centre in St Columb.
