Ned Conran, Terence Conran’s youngest son, has acquired a second site for his El Caminos Mexican Restaurant and Bar brand in Soho.

Formerly the late night bar/club Enclave, the site on Brewer Street, sold on behalf of Tenon Group by property agents Shelley Sandzer, is arranged over ground and basement levels.

Conran’s original café/restaurant in Portabello Road serves traditional Mexican food in an informal setting, and it is believed the same concept will be repeated at the Soho venue.

Stephen Burns from Shelley Sandzer, said: “The Market remains strong for prime sites in the heart of Soho. El Caminos have a great concept which will undoubtedly prove hugely popular in Soho.”

A number of interested parties vied for the site, which eventually went to Conran for an undisclosed sum.
