People 1st and Business Link are holding a series of free employer masterclasses to help hospitality businesses deliver better customer service and marketing

People 1st and Business Link​ are holding a series of free employer masterclasses to help hospitality businesses deliver better customer service and marketing.

Running from 17 November, the masterclasses comprise of two half-day workshops where delegates can learn the skills need to successfully grow their business through improved customer service. They will also receive a free hospitality recruitment package for six months, worth £500, plus an entry into a prize draw to win£1k of Stonebow training.

Brian Wisdom, chief executive of People 1st​ said businesses were twice as likely to survive the recession if they ‘invest time and effort in training staff properly’.

“Our aim is to educate small and medium sized businesses and HR directors in the areas of customer service and marketing, which we have identified as crucial to the success of running a business in hospitality and are too often left to run on a back burner or cut out altogether.”

21 January – The Emirates Stadium, Highbury
26 January – Norwich Football Club
27 January - Leigh Court Conference Centre, Bristol
28 January - Sheffield United Football Club
