Radisson Edwardian, operator of 12 hotels in London and one in Manchester, has launched an ad campaign which makes stars of its regular guests.

The campaign, called We're Very You, features 10 portraits of regular guests painted by up and coming artists and is designed to highlight the hotel chain's ethos of focusing on the individual needs of each person staying with them.

“We’ve turned the normal endorsement campaign on its head,” said Radisson Edwardian marketing director Linda Plant.

“The campaign is less about photographs of our interiors but rather focuses on our guests, demonstrating that we specialise in really knowing them.

“Our staff are trained to take a very individual approach to each hotel guest – whether it’s their first, or their fiftieth stay with us. It might be as simple as knowing which paper a guest prefers and what kind of breakfast – or perhaps knowing that someone is keen on a particular type of theatre and making suggestions for an evening out.

"In a market place which can sometimes feel cold and impersonal, this individualised approach proves to be a popular recipe - as corroborated by the high number of repeat visits.”

The campaign is being unveiled at Gallery 27 on London's Cork Street today and will be rolled out in national print and online media later this month. An online gallery will also be launched on Radisson Edwardian's website.
