The An Lochan restaurant in Glasgow, along with the estate's hotel in Tighnabruaich and inn in Perthshire, are seeking new owners after being placed on the market

Assets of the privately-owned estate are being sold off separately, but property agents Christie & Co, in charge of the sale, said there is obvious 'synergy' between all three businesses, meaning they could be sold to one operator.

The 38-cover An Lochan restaurant in Glasgow is one of only nine restaurants in the city to make it into Which's Good Food Guide. It is on the market for £250,000 freehold.

Situated on Scotland’s West Coast, facing the Isle of Bute, the 11-bedroom hotel at Tighnabruaich features a lounge, 34-cover restaurant, 24-cover bar, staff room and owner’s accommodation and is expecting to fetch £650,000.

The An Lochan Tormaukin, an 18th Century inn in Glendevon is on the market for £850,000. It has 10-bedrooms, a 20-cover bar, 20-cover lounge bar, 42-cover dining room, 50-cover restaurant, and 40-cover conservatory. It also has a detached chalet providing two letting bedroom and a self-catering unit and an owner’s/manager’s three-bedroom bungalow.

Brian Sheldon, director at Christie & Co, said: “The units, which are currently being operated by a management company, offer an ideal opportunity for regional or local operator to build upon the first-class reputation each business has secured.”
