Jason Atherton talks Pollen Street, Shanghai and dessert bars

Jason Atherton is on the cusp of opening his first London restaurant apart from Gordon Ramsay Holdings, months after launching his first solo project in Shanghai.

The former Maze chef has some big ideas for Pollen Street Social, which he hopes to launch on 1 February 2011, including the resurrection of an on-site dessert bar.

BigHospitality caught up with Atherton at the National Chef of the Year final​, held at The Restaurant Show this week, to find out what his plans are.
