Scandanavian warewashing machine supplier Wexiödisk has turned its focus to the UK market for the launch on the new WD-6 Duplus machine which utilises just one litre of water per cycle – up to four times more than other leading models.

Product details:

A low water consumption together with the model’s minimal use of cleaning chemicals ensures caterers can achieve low energy consumption and improved efficiency from their warewashing processes.

Designed to cope with the most demanding of catering environments, the WD-6 Duplus operates a HACCP monitoring function to ensure the washing process consistently remains at its best. Combining the user-friendly and environmental features with a long service life, ‘caterers can be confident the WD-6 Duplus continues to perform at its best for a long time to come’.

USP:

The WD-6 Duplus utilises a ‘double-rinse sequence’, resulting in just one litre of fresh water being used per cycle.

Availability:

The new machine is available in the UK now and can be purchased by calling Wexiödisk's UK country manager Simon Frost on 07968558389.

Cost:

The model starts at £6863.00 excluding VAT.

Why you should buy it:

Simon Frost, UK Country Manage for Wexiödisk, said: “The most important priority for caterers when it comes to their warewashing equipment is to have dishes sparklingly clean, every wash.

“The WD-6 Duplus includes built in autostart and automatic hood operation, which senses when a basket is placed onto the rack before closing the hood and commencing the cycle. Once complete, the hood lifts to allow the drying process to begin immediately, eliminating the chance of watermarks and smears on crockery and cutlery. In addition to the automatic functions, care has also been taken to improve working conditions.

“A unique forward tilting hood, allows for the unwanted steam to be dissipated towards the rear of the equipment rather than into the face of the operator.”
