Corporate serviced apartment provider Skyline Worldwide will open four new developments in London this month as part of a plan to double its portfolio in the capital during 2015.

The first four new property openings, which are all targeted at business travellers, are located in the City and Docklands areas and will add 141 units to the company’s city portfolio.

A further two new developments in the City and one in Kensington will follow shortly bringing Skyline’s owner-operated portfolio across London to over 300 units by the summer, almost double its current stock.

Skyline Worldwide manages more than 30,000 apartments in total through its Skyline Network, based in 84 cities in 26 countries throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. It also has a large presence in Latin America.

London expansion

Skyline’s managing director Thiago Hahn said: “There has been a significant increase in the demand for serviced apartments in London and that’s why we are adopting such an aggressive expansion strategy for 2015 starting with the opening of these four brand new developments in just one month.

"Skyline Worldwide is growing at a phenomenal rate and 2015 is going to be an incredibly exciting year for us – as well as for our clients and guests – as we embark on a programme to double the number of units we own and operate in London in just six months and also to enhance guest experience to its maximum with all the new features in our apartments.”

From January, all of Skyline’s London properties will feature Sky, Nespresso coffee machines and high speed fibre optic internet where available.
