Bakery group Paul has relaunched its click and collect service, allowing it to reintroduce its cake offer.

The company had made 32 products on its Paul website - including its Fraisier, Framboisier, Foret Noire cakes - available to purchase ahead of time for collection at one of 12 stores in London, which include Wimbledon, Canary Wharf, Marylebone, Hammersmith and Earls Court.

The products are also available for delivery within the M25.

Last month Paul reopened a selection of its stores for takeaway and delivery across its 37-strong estate, selling essentials including milk, flour and yeast as well as a range of patisserie items. It has also opened central Acton bakery as a delivery hub and is selling a range of food boxes for delivery only, including Breakfast with Paul, Bread an Veg and Family Top Up options.

To ensure staff safety and remain consistent with the government position of shopping for essentials, the business initially removed all cakes from its menu, but has now reintroduced what it says are those favoured by its customers.

"You'll have seen that we're working hard to both re-open our Paul shops gradually and safely but also ensure that we can offer  products to our customers through delivery via our website," says a statement on the bakery group's website.
