Urban Pubs & Bars will open their latest venue, in London’s Bishopsgate, at the end of the month, with a further three venues in the pipeline for 2021.

Called Nest, the bar and kitchen will launch on 25 September and will be set over two floors with a capacity for 220 guests. The 120-cover dining room and main bar will be on the ground floor while a mezzanine floor will house a nest structure designed for private hire.

It will serve a menu of modern European cuisine overseen by executive chef Max Holba as well as an extensive range of cocktails.

“Nest will be the latest addition to our growing portfolio of City bars joining Fleets - which opened on 17 May and the now established Juno Rooms. With its unique mezzanine structure, Nest will be the perfect addition to the group offering the ideal location for private events, after work drinks, a catch up with friends and family or spot of lunch in the City,” says Nick Pring, Urban Pubs & Bars co-founder and director.

Urban Pubs & Bars was founded in 2014 by Nick Pring and Malcolm Heap and has grown to an estate of 20 pubs, bars and restaurants across London, including the acquisition of the Salt Yard Group in 2018. Venues include Paradise by way of Kensal Green, Well Street Pizza in Hackney, The Gatehouse in Highgate, and The Wheatsheaf in Tooting.
