Billed as Surrey’s first food hall, Epsom Social will bring together eight food vendors when it launches at the end of the month.

Operators at the 200-cover venue will include local pizza brand Doughboyz, Venezuelan street food vendors Pabellón, and Curry On Naanstop, which featured on BBC2’s Britain’s Top Takeaways.

There will also be Lebanese, Mexican, Korean and dessert options and Epsom Social will also play host to ‘regularly rotating’ pop-ups.

Alongside the food, there will be a 12-metre bar serving Guildford-based Redber coffee and Esher-based Big Smoke craft beer alongside a selection of wines, spirits and cocktails.

There will also be a performance area where there will be a curated range of events such as live music, sport on a large screen, comedy nights, cultural events and cooking demonstrations, using local artists and creatives where possible.

Located on Epsom Square just off the high street and one minute from the train station, Epsom Social will be open Monday - Sunday catering ‘for everything from the morning coffee run, lunch and dinner through to evening cocktails and get-togethers’.

Epsom Social is a collaboration between hospitality industry entrepreneur Peter Farrell, and the team behind Street Food Markets, a  major street food and events company.

Farrell has a background in high-end restaurants and hotels having cooked at Michelin-starred restaurants including The Fat Duck, and managed front of house at Anthony Demetre and Will Smith’s Arbutus and Wild Honey before becoming group projects and operations manager for Sir Terence Conran’s restaurant group.

Farrell is also founder and CEO of Food Motion Network which provides multiple services supporting restaurant and hospitality-focused businesses to start and scale concepts.
