Independent Leeds-based brewery North will open its ninth venue this year and the first outside of its home county of Yorkshire.

Launching in November, North Taproom: Snow Hill will open in Birmingham city centre and will serve North’s extensive range of beers, alongside an ever-changing line-up of beers, wines, cocktails, ciders and spirits from an eclectic range of local and international producers.

Fellow Leeds-based brand, Little Bao Boy, will be making the move with North, serving contemporary Asian street food such as gyoza, loaded fries, Korean fried chicken and crispy tofu.

The 2,500sq ft taproom will be located close to Snow Hill station in a modern glass building that will seat 100 covers inside. There will also be space for an additional 30 standing guests, and an extensive covered outdoor seating area that will seat a further 50.

In keeping with North’s ethos, the interior will feature plywood, plants and clean lines to a Scandi feel taproom.  A large bar with 24 tap lines will be surrounded by a mix of high and low seating, alongside fridges of cans to drink in or take away.

North operates a number of taprooms in Leeds city centre as well as in Harrogate, Chapel Allerton, Meanwood, Otley, and Oakwood.
