Nine new restaurants have been given a four rosette ranking by the AA.

Bohemia Restaurant in Jersey; The Dining Room at Whatley Manor; Edinbane Lodge; The Fernery at the Grove; The Glenturret Lalique Restaurant; Grace & Savour at Hampton Manor; and London restaurants The Ledbury, Ormer Mayfair, and Social Eating House were all awarded the rating at the AA Hospitality Awards, which were held in London last night (26 September).

“We are so honoured to receive four AA Rosettes and to have been recognised for our high culinary standards by the AA inspectors. It’s a testament to the hard work of the entire team and fills us with even more motivation to continue to improve and delight our guests,” says Ormer Mayfair head chef Sofian Msetfi (pictured).

Grace & Savour head chef David Taylor described the accolade as “humbling”. “This award means so much to us and we are so humbled to receive 4 Rosettes within our first year of opening,” he said.

“A huge thank you to all our growers for trusting us with your produce and craft, you are just as much a part of Grace & Savour as we are. A big thank you to all our guests for supporting us and making this restaurant possible.”

New 3 rosette restaurants were also named on the night, including Arkle at Chester Grosvenor; The Chubby Castor in Peterborough; The Flitch of Bacon in Essex; Langshott Manor in Surrey; and The Loch & the Tyne by Adam Handling in Berkshire.

The Grove in Pembrokeshire and Cameron House hotel on Loch Lomond in West Dubartonshire were awarded a maximum five-star rating by the AA.

Individuals were also acknowledged at the awards, with John Williams, executive chef at The Ritz in London, receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award and Mark Birchall, chef-patron at Moor Hall in Lancashire, named the Chefs’ Chef of the Year.
