Andrea Egiziano appointed head chef at Da Noi

Andrea Egiziano has been appointed head chef at Chester restaurant Da Noi.

He takes on the role at the Bridge Street restaurant ahead of the launch of its autumn menu of authentic and contemporary Italian dishes. He will work alongside chef and co-founder Valentina Aviotti.

Egiziano began his career at the Michelin-starred La Leggenda Dei Frati in Florence before moving to the UK in 2018 where his experience culminated in taking on the role of chef de partie at Lisa Allen’s Michelin-starred restaurant Northcote in Lancashire.

The 24 year-old chef spent four years in the UK before returning to Italy in in 2021 to join the team at the Michelin-starred, Kitchen, located on Lake Como.

“We are beyond thrilled to welcome chef Andrea to our team here at Da Noi. His breadth of experience, talent and passion for true Italian cuisine is priceless,” says Da Noi co-founder Fabrizio Gobbato.

“With chef Valentina’s knowledge, passion and skill we really are creating something special here in Chester and cannot wait for people to try this new menu.

“We are thoroughly enjoying having him on board and can’t wait to see what he brings to the future of Da Noi.”

Da Noi was awarded a Michelin Plate in 2020 and 2021.
