Halo Burger partners with Sessions to launch five London delivery kitchens
Halo Burger will deliver from Sessions-operated dark kitchens in Richmond, Canary Wharf, Finsbury Park and Queen’s Park imminently, with Fulham to follow later this month.
Each kitchen will have a two-mile delivery radius, which Halo Burger says means its menu will soon be available 'across all of London'.
Halo Burger launched a site that offers both eat-in and takeaway and delivery in POP Brixton in 2018, serving a menu of burgers to eat-in and takeaway made with Beyond Meat patties instead of beef; and sides that include fries topped with melted vegan cheese, ‘signature’ sauce and caramelised onions.
It followed up with a small bricks-and-mortar restaurant in Shoreditch in early 2020, but that site closed last summer.
“It’s such an exciting time to be working with Sessions - as they continue their growth journey and help facilitate ours. I created Halo Burger because when I first became vegan, I was disappointed at the lack of good plant-based burgers available,” says founder Ross Forder.
“Now because of the partnership with Sessions, Halo can now be delivered to the majority of London - an ambition I always had. We look forward to seeing the results of our partnership with Sessions and believe this is just our first step.”
Sessions was launched by former Deliveroo managing director Dan Warne an currently operates a network of over 100 delivery kitchens across the UK alongside food halls in Brighton and London's Islington.
