High-profile pastry chef Graham Hornigold has acquired Pretty Sweet, a patisserie business that supplies finished products to restaurants, events companies, corporate hospitality and offices.

The kitchen will be headed up by Hornigold and head chef Bronwen Jackson, who met while working at Hakkasan.

Pretty Sweet was founded by pastry chefs Sarah Crouchman and Claire Clark in 2014. Current clients include Sodexo, Nathan Outlaw and Belmond British Pullman London.

Hornigold - who also runs consultancy Smart Patisserie and gourmet finger doughnut brand Longboys - says that given the ongoing shortage of pastry chefs in hotels and restaurants he is looking to consolidate some of the best talent under one roof to look after various disciplines within one production site.

“We will be offering premium products whilst educating and providing an inclusive working environment, which offers work life balance,” he adds.

Jackson added: “I spoke with Graham about the role and we instantly saw eye-to-eye with wanting to provide the UK with the best wholesale desserts. We are looking to grow the business within the corporate sector and offer a service and quality second to none. We are focused on creating great products and look forward to capturing a new audience whereby we can showcase our talents.”
